Beloveds, our profession of faith requires we stand upon the word of the Lord. That we walk by faith in all assurance God has provided our needs. That we believe he is the Lord, God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. Lastly, because we stand, walk, and believe, we receive all the Lord has ordained for us. Nothing will be withheld from all who trust and believe.

In the Morning When I Rise is a testament to the Lord for all he has done and continues to do.

This devotional was inspired by the Holy Spirit and the voice of the Lord that speaks to me each morning. In the morning when I rise, I gleefully respond to his call to rise and seize the day to walk by his guiding voice and to see the glory of the Lord upon my life.

In the Morning When I Rise is my response to all who have asked how I have so much faith and trust in this unseen God when all manner of foolishness is afoot. I have faith because he is always with me and us. His love for me grants and fulfills my every need. His voice provides comfort and peace and my eyes are fixed upon his glory, which rests, rules, and reigns supremely upon this earth.

Yes, foolishness is everywhere; so is the Lord, and “[G]reater is He who is in me than is in the World” 1 John 4:4. He is greater than the defeated enemy about us. He is my reason, my portion, and my voice. May this journey provide you the same peace, love, and joy that he brings to me each morning.
