Jake Masters is sailing alone in The Bahamas when he picks up Sonia Temple, a sailing hitchhiker. When he is lost overboard, and Sonia fails to rescue him, she is overcome with guilt, and when Jake’s phone begins receiving texts from his family, she must decide to fess up, or to impersonate him and pretend all is well. Her dark side takes over and what follows is a twisting story of madness, chase, love, revenge, and remorse.
