This book is about my fight. This book outlines the stages of a domestic violent relationship with a significant other, whether a husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, or whatever. No one should have to feel as if he or she is being torn apart to make others happy with themselves. In a relationship, you should be able to count on the other person no matter what. You should be able to take their words at face value and be able to believe them when they say to you that they will never leave. This book will help others to become the warrior that I have slowly learned to become. I have suffered much heartache in my many years on this Earth. I have been lied to, talked down to, and hit on for many years, but I am finally understanding that I am a warrior within my own right and that is where I shall always stand. I am free and on my own to fight my battles for me and my kids alone.
