The story was very nice and even if you saw Miyazaki's adaptation, you'll not be bored as the story differs greatly from the movie. Most of the characters are still present, but you'll discover a complete new story.
Moreover Kristin Atherton is an awesome performer! It was really easy to differentiate the multiple characters. And as a non-english native speaker, she has a really clear diction and it was easy and enjoyable to listen to this Audible.
I greatly enjoy this audio book and I would totally recommend it if you want to discover the story on which Miyazaki's movie is inspired as well as if you simply want to hear a nice story.

Wonderful story, captivating. Fun universe. The only hiccup is I found a couple of scenes near the end a bit rushed, otherwise it had a great pace to it.
I LOVED the performance by Kristin Arterton so much I went and bought the other two stories of this series read by her.
