    Simple Tips for Improving Health

    Dr Chatterjee has decided to stop focusing on relieving symptoms of disease in his practice, and instead focus on the underlying health issues of his individual patients. In this book, he covers recommendations for a healthy life that could easily fit into your everyday routine, no matter your age, occupation, or where you live. His general philosophy is "do what you can" and generally assess your efforts to your own standard with a goal of improvement as you can. He acknowledges the shortfalls of this approach (surgery, medicine, and more aggressive treatment still have their place). In broad strokes, Dr Chatterjee wants to help you eat, sleep, and move (preferably outdoors). He talks about the benefit of morning sunlight, the harm of evening screen light, and the need for full and complete sleep in a dark atmosphere (at least as often as you can). He talks about how when exercise is a chore, performed indoors in a gym, that many people may be doing more harm to their overall health than good. He talks about the need to balance how you move (not simply focusing on the "mirror muscles"), and how weight training can change the relationship between your muscles in unhealthy ways. Overall I really enjoyed this book. Much of it can be found in the myriad of other health related books, but there are passages where you feel that Dr. Chatterjee wrote this to make a positive impact on your own health, and he avoids being trendy in favor of being practical. In addition, he points out that your own health will never be studied to the extent it needs to be in order to prescribe how well any other medical study will apply in your personal case. Even in areas where promise is shown but the studies are incomplete, it could be decades or a lifetime before the medical community understands "why" or "how" a thing affects our general health.

    Excellent approach!

    This is an excellent book on getting back to the basics of healthier living. Dr. Chatterjee makes it seem very achievable and realistic. I am a registered nurse and diabetes educator, I found this very inspiring for myself and for my practice. It puts what healthcare should be back into perspective.

    My favorite book on Health so far!

    I read nothing but books on holistic health, nutrition and living healthy lifestyles. I can honestly say this is the one of the best, and most simplified books I’ve ever read About overall health. I loved this book so so much!

    Great book

    I love how simple and achievable the tips are. Also even the complicated medical aspects are writen in such a way that anyone can understand. It's a great book and has a very important message. I'm glad I found it.

    Information to make you think.......

    Good information that I can use to help treat and prevent health issues. This helps when your doctor loves the prescription pad more than alternative solutions. Makes you do a self examination of your daily lifestyle for answers to health problems.

    Excellent information and ideas for implementing.

    Excellent information backed up by facts, studies, and case histories. The author also gives plenty of simple suggestions regarding how to implement this amazing information. I have just started to apply a few of these suggestions and I can already feel a difference.

    Amazing Book - Highly recommend

    This book is nothing short of fantastic in my opinion. It’s the best health book I've read thus far. I love Dr. Chatterjee and all his work. His podcast Feel Better, Live more is great, and so is his TV show Doctor in the house UK - in which he changes many peoples lives.

    Hervorragendes Hörbuch

    Empfohlen von einem Arzt und Freund hab ich dieses Hörbuch von Anfang bis Ende genossen! Logisch schlüssig und sehr gut umzusetzen. Man fängt mit einer „kleinen“ Sache an und fügt die nächste dazu sobald es passt ... ohne Druck und mit Verständnis und Freude an der Sache ...ändern sich die Dinge zum positiven.
