    Description

Persuade, Don’t Push! Surely you know plenty of people who need to make a change, but despite your most well-intentioned efforts, they resist because people fundamentally fear change. As a salesman, father, friend, and consultant, Rob Jolles knows this scenario all too well. Drawing on his highly successful sales background and decades of research, he lays out a simple, repeatable, predictable, and ethical process that will enable you to lead others to discover for themselves what and why they need to change.

Whether you hope to make a sale or improve a relationship, Jolles’ wise advice - illustrated through a bevy of sometimes funny, sometimes moving, always illuminating stories - will help you ensure that changing someone’s mind is never an act of coercion but rather one of caring and compassion.

Well presented, No real new information

Would you try another book from Rob Jolles and/or Rob Jolles?

Yes, I think he writes very comprehensively and appears to have a lot of knowledge for business/sales. However, this particular book just skims along the surface of many concepts.

Has How to Change Minds turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, it's only one book among a vast selection of books.

Which character – as performed by Rob Jolles – was your favorite?

No real characters in the book except Rob Jolles so by default he would be the favorite.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Yes, the book is well written and organized in flow of topics.

    Any additional comments?

Would have liked some additional information or application examples in the book.

    Decision making

Great book. Authors narration made it more fun to listen and his presentation skills and personality added character to the stories told.

This should be read by everyone! It’s not just how to sell, it’s how you can build trusting relationships to help influence decision making in any relationship.

    Thank you Rob!
