I'm listening audiobooks a lot and as the second book of the series is good with an excellent voice acting, I decided to purchase this one only to ask for a refund a few hours letters.
I encourage you to listen to "return to sender" from the same author and voice actress to see if you will enjoy the performance as to me they made a casting error regarding the Voice Actress.
The issue with her is that she makes everything sound sorrowful would the scene call for it or not. It would work with a dramatic story, but this is a romantic comedy, not a retelling of Odysseus from Penelope perspective.
The book, otherwise, is good. If you love the author you may manage to go past the VA issue, I know I unfortunately couldn't
