This children's book features a unique Hawaiian sea turtle ("honu" in Hawaiian) with an unusual distinction from others. He has Red Hair growing from the top of his head! His name is Hairy.
Hairy lives in the ocean around the big island of Hawaii, in the Hawaiian Islands.
The story also includes other creatures of the sea, such as other honu, a shark ("mano" in Hawaiian), some dolphins ("nai'a" in Hawaiian), but mostly about his dear friend Molly, the monk seal (also known in Hawaiian as "Ilio holo I ka uaua", “the dog that runs in rough waters”).
