Violence is funny. Until it isn’t.
Pearce is an Edinburgh hard man who wants exactly one thing: to be left alone. He’s done with favours, done with families, done with trouble. Naturally, trouble comes looking for him anyway.
The Baxter family is a mess of bad blood and worse decisions. When sixteen-year-old May Baxter crosses her sadistic husband Wallace, Pearce is asked to step in and protect her. He says no. Then it gets personal. And once Pearce is involved, restraint is off the table.
What follows is an escalating spiral of brutality, farce, and catastrophic choice. Bodies pile up. Loyalties snap. Violence becomes grotesque, hilarious and finally unavoidable. Everyone involved is a bad person. Some are just worse than others.
