William Collins has achieved everything he set his mind on, not without a lot of failures and redos, but he never gave up. To the outside world, it seemed as if everything he touched turned to gold. But it was because of his resistance to failure on every level that spurred him forward. His mantra to his children and grandchildren was to resist, resist, resist when they were considering a short-term pleasure or acquisition over the long-term gain. He wasn’t interested in perfection, he was determined to find the potential in everyone he met. Anyone else, reaching their 75th birthday with so much to be thankful for, might decide to step back and enjoy his success. William wasn’t just anyone. There was always something new around the corner, and if it could help his family, his business, and his community, he wasn’t going to stop. There was still so much more to do, he just needed help figuring out what the next step was going to be.
