Description

An amazing start to a new series!!!!
I've always said that "dysfunctional family" is redundant. Every family is messed up in some way, so just say "family", we get that somewhere there's weirdness happening. But, Shannon Mayer has taken it to the truly "dysfunctional" in this interesting, entertaining and enthralling new story. The characters are so real, you want to be friends with some of them, and you want to just smack some others. As a listener, you get so involved in the emotional outcome to this story. This is such a great adventure, there's excitement, a hunky love interest, twists and surprises that keep the listener guessing, snark a plenty, all with fabulous and loveable sidekicks. The narrator does a great job of distinguishing between charachters, that you always know who is speaking. I'm really looking forward to the next book, can't wait!

A Wild Ride
This was a fast paced story with many twists and turns. Cin and Bebe were great! I love their friendship. I can't wait for the next book. Amy Landon is a great narrator.

The Midlife series has been a favorite but now Golden is❤️❤️
I love the humor and the story! Can’t wait for the next
Book. Love the Narrator too. She mange’s to give each character their own voice.

A Unique Take on Urban Fantasy
What a unique take on Urban Fantasy. I thoroughly enjoyed Shannon’s world building and all the twists and turn that Cyn has had to take to survive her family and her curse as a golden… what do you say? You’ll have to listen to this audiobook to find out. The narration is excellent!

Loved it
Shannon Mayer has done it again creating an original storyline with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very last word. It was so intriguing I’ve already purchased and downloaded the next in this wonderful series.
Amy Landon gave a stellar performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave a distinct voice to all the characters.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to cozy paranormal fans.

good book
enjoyed the book. could have had less F words. but great overall. hope there's another one
