Description
Stephanie Plum breaks the rules, flirts with disaster, and shows who’s boss in this “fast and fun” (Publishers Weekly) thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Janet Evanovich.
Monday mornings aren’t supposed to be fun, but they should be predictable. However, on this particular Monday, Stephanie Plum knows that something is amiss when she turns up for work at Vinnie’s Bail Bonds to find that longtime office manager Connie Rosolli, who is as reliable as the tides in Atlantic City, hasn’t shown up.
Stephanie’s worst fears are confirmed when she gets a call from Connie’s abductor. He says he will only release her in exchange for a mysterious coin that a recently murdered man left as collateral for his bail. Unfortunately, this coin, which should be in the office—just like Connie—is nowhere to be found.
The quest to discover the coin, learn its value, and save Connie will require the help of Stephanie’s Grandma Mazur, her best pal Lula, her boyfriend Morelli, and hunky security expert Ranger. As they get closer to unraveling the reasons behind Connie’s kidnapping, Connie’s captor grows more threatening and soon Stephanie has no choice but to throw caution to the wind, follow her instincts, and go rogue.
Full of surprises, thrills, and humor, Going Rogue reveals a new side of Stephanie Plum, and shows Janet Evanovich at her scorching, riotous best.

Best yet
Great plot, great laughs. Best Plum Novel yet! I was sad for it to end, but loved Bella having a prominent part. No spoilers, but this book was amazing.

Rogue
There was so much to like and a fun changes in the characters. I’ve seen complaints that the books have a great deal of predictability and well yes. It one reason to love her books and the anticipation when you know a new one is in the works.
I’m grateful for this chance at her newest Stephanie book and the the humor she provides in them.
So now for the 2nd read

Boring
There is no real action. No advancements in the Morelle/Ranger/Plum romance, moves very very slow. And the dialogue is for a third grader. No more. I am done and Stephanie should be done too.

Repetitive and Same Old Same Old
Want to LOVE the book...but it's the same, trite, formulaic book as last November's and the November before that. It's ok...just the absolute same.

Stephanie needs to move on
Stephanie Plum deserves better than two love interests who constantly want to cop a feel. Morelli and Ranger are superficial, outdated, and out to bed her no matter how injured, tortured or in danger Stephanie is. These men are ridiculous and act like horny fraternity boys rather than adult men presumably still in their 30s. Please move this series along!

Tired
Super obvious and tedious. The vocabulary and language used in this by certain characters is so out of touch and boring.

BABE.
This episode of the wildly popular Stephanie Plum series feels more like the older stories. It's purely fun, fast, and frisky. All our favorites are here, from Lula to Grandma Mazur, and of course Morelli and Ranger. With a stroke of genius, Morelli's grandmother Sophia, the one with "the EYE" plays a big part in this one. She added an entirely new depth to this read.
This is the most enjoyable Plum I've read in quite a while, although I'm a big enough fan to admit I love them all. These reads are always a great escape when you need to forget the real world and have some laughs with a side of Plum romance. Reading about Stephanie's exploits always makes me feel a little better about myself.
If you're already a fan, you won't want to miss this one. If you're wondering how in the world an author could keep the same character going for more than 29 books, pick this up! Even if you haven't read the others, you'll pick up on Stephanie's misadventures quickly.
