À propos de ce contenu audio
A funny, sinister and thought-provoking comic thriller from the multimillion-copy selling author of Holes.
If you go down to the woods today ... Well, every child knows NOT to, don’t they?
Tamaya is on a scholarship to the prestigious Woodridge Academy and every day she and seventh-grader Marshall walk to school together. They never go through the woods.
When they arrive at school they stop talking to each other – because Marshall can’t be seen to be friends with a little kid like Tamaya. Especially not with Chad around. Chadthebully, who makes Marshall’s life utterly miserable. But today, hoping to avoid Chad, Marshall and Tamaya decide to go through the woods ... And what is waiting there for them is strange, sinister and entirely unexpected.
The town is about to be turned upside down by the mysterious Fuzzy Mud ...©2015 Louis Sachar (P)2015 Penguin Random House LLC

...a fast-paced and exciting story of bravery, friendships, and science gone wacky
An exciting story of school life, friends, and bullies that becomes a quick meditation on the promise and dangers of modern science
Sachar blends elements of mystery, suspense, and school-day life into a taut environmental cautionary tale about the insatiable hunger for energy sources and the cost of not doing the right thing
But most of all, it's a great story, skillfully told. Readers will relate to Tamaya and Marshall straightaway and race through a tense plot for the denouement. It's quite a slim volume, Fuzzy Mud, but it packs a punch
There’s no doubt that Louis Sachar, the Newbery Medal-winning author of Holes, knows how to draw in his readers. His latest book, Fuzzy Mud, reads like a middle school version of Contagion - it’s a thriller that will have readers quickly turning its pages
Grounded in well-rounded central characters, this compelling novel holds as much suspense as fuel for discussion
Perfectly judged blend of humour and sensitivity. Clever, contemporary adventure
Tables are turned in this biotech thriller
