This is an original way to practise and learn in both languages. Daily vocabulary is well covered in the stories. Russ Whismore's reading is perfectly understandable in both languages and is a good example for students. The stories are a bit plain for my taste, but the main purpose of learning a foreign language pleasantly is well addressed.
