    I begin this book as it was recommended for readers who liked The Cruel Prince. But this lacked any depth or logic (the mc never seems to ask herself very basic questions about what is happening and wanders around aimlessly at times) and the writing lacked any dimension. I couldn’t drum up interest in any of the characters (except perhaps one villain in the last 5 minutes of the book 😂) but stuck with it through the end hoping it was just the effect of the lacklustre narration or that suddenly all would come into focus at the end and engage my interest. Nope. Shocked that this has such a following!
