But in order to keep them, I had to be in on their secrets.⁣ Secrets that cost us everything to keep.⁣ That’s the novelty of fiction versus reality. You can’t re-live your own love story, because by the time you’ve realized you’re living it, it’s over. At least that was the case for me and the men I trusted my foolish heart to.⁣ Looking back, I’m convinced I willed my story into existence, due to my illness, and all were punished.

The Ravenhood trilogy is a gritty, modern-day take on Robin Hood filled with suspense, thrills, and all the feels.

The story was really entertaining and the depiction of the main character's feeling got me mad and yelling to myself, so overall a very good story.

After loving Drive and Reverse, I finally picked up Flock — and wow, what a ride.

The set up: Cecilia moves in with her estranged, wealthy father for a year in exchange for college tuition. She starts working at the Plant, the factory he owns (her father basically runs the whole town). That’s where she meets Sean… who then introduces her to his friend Dominic. And let’s just say: modern-day Robin Hood energy, secret brotherhood vibes, and sharing is very much caring (if you know, you know).

The dynamic between the three of them is addictive — the tension, the vibes, the reflective MMC moments, the spice, the chapter 25 energy… it all works. Even though I wanted a bit more depth in the plot, I’m hoping book 2 will bring the answers.

And that cliffhanger?
SO good. I’m absolutely binging the rest of the series.
