Start with Why shows that the leaders who've had the greatest influence in the world all think, act, and communicate the same way - and it's the opposite of what everyone else does. Sinek calls this powerful idea The Golden Circle, and it provides a framework upon which organizations can be built, movements can be led, and people can be inspired. And it all starts with why.

The philosopher explains to his pupil how each of us is able to determine our own life, free from the shackles of past experiences, doubts, and the expectations of others.

Description
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Find Your Why by Simon Sinek, David Mead and Peter Docker, read by Stephen Shedletzky and with an introduction by the author.
Find Your Why is the follow up to Start with Why, the global best seller and the subject of the third most watched TED Talk of all time. With Start with Why, Simon Sinek inspired a movement to build a world in which the vast majority of us can feel safe while we are at work and fulfilled when we go home at night. Now, along with two of his colleagues, Peter Docker and David Mead, Sinek has created a guide to the most important step any business can take: finding your why.
This easy-to-follow guide starts with the search for your personal why, and then expands to helping your colleagues find your organization's why. With detailed instructions on every stage in the process, the book also answer common concerns, such as: What if my why sounds like my competitor's? Can you have more than one why? And, if my work doesn't match my why, what do I do? Whether you're an entry level or a CEO, whether your team is run by the founder or a recent hire, these simple steps will lead you on a path to a more fulfilling life and long-term success for you and your colleagues.

Great IF you can follow the guidelines
Great book overall BUT do not buy if you do not have a reliable partner who answers Simon's criteria, that is not too close to you to be objective enough and willing to read this book to learn a about his role as a facilitator. I self help alone so this was a bit of a waste of money.

How to guide
Find your Why was okay but not exactly what I expected. It is more of a how to manual than the individual guide to finding your why. It also spends the majority of time guiding group sessions.
The book still contained a number of gems which I have taken away but I wish I had read It starts with Why first.

Too much corporate focus
The book focuses too much on the corporate sector and not enough on the individual.
its also not that great as an audiobook, would be much better to read it and do the exercises as explained.

Very good sound quality for a practical tool
What did you like about this audiobook?
The tone and the rythm as well as the clear pronounciation for a non native English speaking professional made the experience highly enjoyable.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
I like the fact that the story conveys a logical and well structured script to help individuals, groups or companies to find their WHY, while the importance of the emotional piece to get the best outcome out of it is highlighted along the entire process.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
No. I had only watched videos of Simon Sinek.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
Are you in?
Do you have any additional comments?
Thanks and hope shortly most of the people are in. We would have a completely different world. Much better, no doubt.

Thin content
this book wont help you find your „why“ and gives to much attention to organisational why finding
which I don‘t give a damn about so for me only one third of the book was helpful. you could condense the essence of this book in a long blog post. Just read a book summery about this title. On top of that I think that his ideas for finding your why are psychologically wrong.

Read the book, only when you plan to do why discovery soon. It's a how to guide. A good one. But I wasn't prepared for this. Might change my review when I do mine :)
