A Summoner has fallen. The Demon Lord has risen. And both point back to Fen.
Fen's decisions have thrown the world into a coming war. But you can only change so much. With his path before him laid out, Fen must now set off for search of the Hero. He must also recruit adventurers to the war effort. All the while blending in with humanity in a new form.
Between kidnapping the Hero, and training thousands of adventurers, Fen learns what it's like to be human. His friendships grow, and sprout into powerful emotions that this lone wolf has not had to deal with in a very long time. And though his choices don't haunt him, he learns that humanity has limits.But not everything is as it seems. Gods have been released from their pacts. Dungeons are overflowing and changing. Demons are escaping into the Ancient Forest, and a village is started in Fen's name. His wishes to be left alone are shattered, and Fen must now focus on his Apprentices. Joy, Nix, Thomas, and Ren. All four, plus more, are under his guidance, and through hell, they will learn how to rise above adversity before the war begins.
