Description

Un classique parfait
Ce livre ne sera jamais démodé et je le conseillerais volontiers à tout enfant sachant lire.

Gut geeignet zum Englisch lernen
Würden Sie Five on a Treasure Island noch mal anhören? Warum?
Ich lerne zur Zeit Englisch mit Hilfe von Büchern und Hörbüchern und dieses hier ist sehr gut geeignet dazu. Es ist nicht allzu schwer geschrieben und die Geschichte ist dennoch unterhaltsam. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass diese etwas älteren Bücher besser geeignet sind als aktuelle. Ich habe schon vor einiger Zeit begonnen, "Famous Five" Bücher von Enid Blyton in Englisch zu lesen und ich bin sehr froh, dass es bei Audible mittlerweile die Hörbucher dazu gibt. Die waren nämlich bisher in Deutschland nicht zu bekommen. Ich würde mich sehr darüber freuen, wenn es in Zukunft auch Hörbücher zu der "Mystery of"-Reihe von Enid Blyton gäbe, weil ich die noch besser finde, als die Famous Five. Die Sprecherin ist sehr gut und gut verständlich.

gripping story but outdated roles
the story and most of the characters are lovely, but the gender roles are shocking from a modern perspective. Anne is completely useless at everything and always needs a boy's help. George is only ok because she is trying to be a boy and Aunt Franny is a shallow materialist who has to obey her husband.
other than that, the story is nice.
