Ana Ramos feels like a useless bridesmaid. So, when the bride asks Ana to go pick up a groomsman from the airport that’s a few hours away, Ana jumps at the chance to be useful. Noah Reeds is a certified ladies’ man. Ana keeps her guard up because she knows his reputation. Of course, it doesn’t help that he’s hot as hell and has a swoon-worthy smirk. But she’s determined to not give in to his relentless flirting. No matter how hot it is.
On their way back to the resort from the airport, their rental blows a tire, stranding them in the middle of nowhere during a thunderstorm. So, they walk to a cabin to find a lovely elderly couple.
The Bennetts welcome them into their home and let them stay until the storm and its aftermath clears. But there's an issue: Ana and Noah must play the perfect, cute couple for their hosts. Tricking the Bennetts is easy, but are they falling for their own lie?
Pretending is just the calm before the fall.
