Within the depths of our hearts and minds, a natural inclination draws us towards God, for He designed us that way. At certain moments in life, we feel that undeniable magnetic pull towards Him, yet we may be uncertain of its nature or how to embrace it. We might even find ourselves hesitating to step towards that beckoning from God, which steadfastly holds onto us.
Amidst the tempestuous emotional trials that torment us, such as sorrow, depression, addiction, heartbreak, and loneliness, we require an unwavering faith in God to serve as our anchor. There exists a hidden sanctuary within God, a Secret Place where solace, comfort, refuge, protection, and love eternally reside. It matters not who we are or the mistakes we've made in our lives, for even if self-forgiveness eludes us, God possesses the power to forgive and welcome us into His Secret Place.
