Demetria, known as Demi, was born into a world called Elementium—a world that has evolved far beyond the basic human understanding of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. As an Elemental, Demi lives in Providence Four, one of the twelve Provinces hidden in plain sight from humans. As Demi nears graduation, she prepares for the Judgment ceremony—a sacred event where her dominant element will be revealed, setting her path in the Province. However, Demi soon discovers that her fate is not as straightforward as it seems. The elements have plans for her that defy all expectations, thrusting her into a role she never anticipated and challenging everything she thought she knew about her world, her family, and herself.
