On August 6, 1945 the United States showed the world the results of their secret Manhattan Project, and the Japanese city of Hiroshima was destroyed with a cataclysm of fire by a pair of three-hundred-ton dragons they hatched, grew, and trained in the desert.
With the unstoppable power of dragons on our side, World War 2 came to a quick end. Unfortunately it wasn’t long until the communist Soviets got their hands on dragon eggs and birthed their own arsenal of dragons.
Now it’s 2025, the Cold War is still raging, the world is on the brink, and America’s best defense is still its dragons.
Jake Randall is a freshman at the United States Dragon Corps Academy, where he and other students, the best of the best, will train to be an elite dragon pilot. If Jake can balance his classwork, taming his dragon, the girls vying for his attention, and his rival pilots, he might just get his wings.
