Dionysus "Dio" Jackson is off to a fresh start. So he thinks. From his troubled past left behind in California, he has now been sent to New York to spend time with his cousin. The trip to the big city is for growth, but for Dio, it's a place to explore and discover.

While the vacation seems fun, Dio is beginning to uncover things about himself that could change his life forever. When he confides in his newfound friend Samara, it's apparent that the two share more than laughs and understanding. As Dio attempts to make smarter decisions, he seems to fall deeper into darkness rather than the light. Although he knows what's right, he continues to get spun in a web of dark deceit. Although help isn't far, the only problem is that his cousin doesn't even know he's there.
