The fallen angels Bezalel and Azâzêl are finally out of Greg’s life. The former Brother Greg, some say disgraced, with his new wife, Grace, are guests of Fr. Ortiz at St. Rita’s, where the fallen angels have been confined, hopefully for good. Greg has taken on the humble job of groundskeeper while Grace helps maintain the small church’s finances. Their lives are finally moving in a ’normal’ direction, especially when Grace shares the news of her pregnancy.
A normally joyous time carries implications not only for their lives but for the realms of heaven and hell when the demon Lilith, Grace’s aunt, becomes interested in her pregnancy. Yet, at the same time, another realm is also inserting itself into the couple’s lives from an ancient entity across the sea.
So much for a quiet, normal life.
