Now that Priscilla Halburton-Smythe has agreed to marry him, Police Sergeant Hamish Macbeth can't imagine a more perfect life. Hamish finds their petty fights amusing and a clever excuse to avoid Priscilla and her schemes for a new electric stove (to replace his beloved woodburning appliance), a posh new bathroom, and virtuous nutrition.     Le plus pertinent
    au delà de l intrigue policière et de la description minutieuse des highlands c est la relation amoureuse tumultueuse entre Hamish et Priscilla qui me tient en haleine....d ou l intérêt de lire les livres dans l ordre. Le narrateur est vraiment excellent : j ai écouté 2 livres à suivre en un temps record sans aucune lassitude.
