against the traditional armies of the Witch Lord’s loyalists, inflicting heavy losses. The heir is nearly taken from him through treachery in Rune Keep, and he’s still not fully onboard until Ridge and Rett rescue him and he sees first-hand what the Witch King’s followers are doing.
