Le plus pertinent
J'ai bien aimé ce récit même si personnellement je déteste tout ce qui est en lien avec la musique, surtout le rock et je n'en écoute pratiquement pas. Je l'ai choisi à cause du précédent livre de l'auteur "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" qui m'avait agréablement surprise.

Je dirais qu'on retrouve le style de l'auteure dans ce nouveau roman.

La narration se prête étonnamment bien au livre audio et c'est un full cast donc on a une voix par personnage. C'est comme une interview géante pour revenir sur l'expérience de la troupe de rock. Chaque personnage donne son souvenir avec ses impressions personnelles, c'est très chargé en émotion.

Franchement, le récit est plutôt bien fait, on s'y croirait mais par contre il y a beaucoup de redites sur la drogue notamment. Je n'ai pas du tout aimé le personnage de Daisy Jones. Mais on se laisse prendre au jeu, vraiment. Donc je suis allée au bout.

Les narrateurs sont étonnants, parfois on sent leur voix se briser, ils ont conservé les souffles et soupirs et malgré le nombre de voix on s'y retrouve parce que leur nom est annoncé en début de chapitre.
