 Spensa's life as a Defiant Defense Force pilot has been far from ordinary.

    It's so different than the other two books that it feels it hasn't been written by the same author.
    In short : The hero wanders around in a jungle doing meaningless things and forgetting about who she is for 14 hours, until a final revelation about the delvers that is not at all surprising and quite anticlimactic. Yeah, that about summed it up.
    I'm not looking forward to the fourth book.
