Description

When her boss is contacted by Jakob Brodsky, a young Jewish lawyer pursuing a lawsuit on behalf of the woman’s family under the US Anti-Terrorism laws, he calls on Hana’s expertise to take point on the case. After careful prayer, she joins forces with Jakob, and they quickly realize the need to bring in a third member for their team, an Arab investigator named Daud Hasan, based in Israel.
As the case evolves, this team of investigators will uncover truths that will forever change their understanding of justice, heritage, and what it means to be chosen for a greater purpose.

Thank you Robert Whitlow
Thank you for showing the world that a page turning, fast action story can be written without using bad language. A sign of integrity and intelligence.
I wish more authors would realize that bad language detracts from the story and shows up the authors limited vocabulary.
This was my first book with this author. I plan to read many more of his books. Thelma Bontrager.

Excellent - clean - no cursing etc
This is one of those books that you can’t stop listening to. What a wonderful story of love and redemption and intrigue. All without any bad language, sex, violence etc. I will be searching for more great finds like this on

Read This One For Desired Effect
I hate to be critical of any narrator, because I can't begin to imagine how hard it would be to give a performance through reading. But this is one instance where the story, and any meaning conveyed, was flubbed by the narrator. It's not her voice itself, but the way in which she enunciates that saps all the life and suspense out of this story. This book was supposed to be suspenseful, since we're talking about a terrorist attack in Israel and subsequent fall out. But it ended up being flat and like someone reading a bland magazine. So staying interested was nearly impossible. However, I do feel it might be a great written book. The message is powerful and so timely. Today it's so wonderful to find a powerful Christian story.

Great story, poor performance
The book held our interest from the start. Original plot and good character development. A few contrived plot twists, but overall very entertaining. The narration was nearly dreadful. No voice inflection, no attempt to distinguish characters, like she was just reading the script. I would bypass her and read the book.

Our family loves Robert Whitlow books!
We were first introduced to Robert Whitlow's works through movies made from his books The Trial and The List. from there we look watch for other movies based on his books as well as his books. He is a gifted writer and able to weave compelling stories with twists, turns and suspense enjoyable for family listening. No gratuitous sex or violence and no profanity. Highly recommended!

Great story
This top-level author deserves a decent narrator. While her voice is pleasant enough, she makes NO distinction in character's voices, not even for the child! She does no accents either when accents are clearly called for. We pay good money for these and deserve someone qualified.
The story is great historically and relationally with lots of intrigue.

Slow and abrupt ending
With all the wonderful reviews I was excited to start this book. I listened all the way thru and thought, "What did I miss?" I kept waiting for something to happen. It finally did, the book ended.

The reader reads too fast. No pauses for chapters. Few voice inflection, so the voice is monotonous.

Poor performance
This book was read rather than performed. It’s a good story but I’d recommend reading it rather than listening to the audio book.

wonderfully spiritual
An exciting crime thriller that can be read without fear of bad language or sexual content. I'm looking forward to reading more of Whitlow's books.
