Not quite what I was hoping for

As a design professional was hoping for practical implementation and process, whereas this was very much a back-patting exercise extolling the virtues and benefits of design thinking to those needing convincing. A great, feel-good read, but not helpful in getting started or refining your process. The content has also become rather dated in places.

Creativity is in everything

While I'd love to change jobs to become a design thinker, I do not think that is the path I am supposed to take but I enjoyed reading about the process of design and the components of design.

Good intro and evangelism for Design thinking

If you're looking for inspiration on why you should learn more about design thinking, this book is for you. Well structured, provides an overview of the principles of this discipline and illustrates them very well. It also provides a compelling case to use this approach to tackle wicked problems. If you want a more systematic approach to learn the tools of the craft, this book is not for you. On the one hand it is somehow the nature of design thinking to be an emerging, open ended discipline. On the other hand the book shows too much of the author's personal approach which is not in the way of decoding and creating a framework. There is good effort in that sense but if you are looking for that this may not be the book.

Lots of fluff, little substance

I was hoping for a book that could conclusively show why Design Thinking was more than a buzz word. Instead what I found was common-sense business principles like customer beneficiary repackaged in a new framework. Worse yet, this book waxes lyrical annoy the benefits of DT yet includes basically nothing about its practical or successful application. New frameworks like DT spawn so much buzz that anybody can execute them poorly and most do. What is missing is an authoritative playbook.

Good book, a bit old on its concepts

As I Bought the book, I knew it would speak of eventos happened on the Last decade, but boy have things Changed. It' s a good book if searching for some perspective on desigb thibking, if you already have you bearing on this subjects I recommend to pass on to something else

gave me a great understanding of design thinking. will give. me a great basis to continue my learning.
