This isn't an autobiography.
This is a how to book: wash your face, do your make up, eat healthy. The majority of the book talked about what she does to keep her face looking nice and what she eats. There were some stories about her life here and there, but this was difficult to listen to. :(

Narcisstic Ramblings
Self-righteous, pious, but mostly just annoying. I thought it was going to be more of an autobiographical book with her journey. However I had to stop after halfway through, I don't want her tips for how to cleanse my face, nurture my body, or moisturize. Even her tone is condescending...save your money.

I felt like oh so Lea Michele brag book...
I felt like it was more of a brag book then her true story. It was kind of a boring read great for bedtime. I definitely wanted to hear the success stories, but it would have been nice to hear about some of the hard times to get there.

An Inspiration!
It exceeded my expectations! I absolutely love Lea Michele even more. This book inspires me to really love myself and work hard at life. When I listen to it at the gym and smile randomly I probably get weird looks from people around me. overall, fabulous read!

If you are looking for a diet/lifestyle book with plugs for Whole Foods included several times a chapter read to you by Twilight Sparkle. This is the book for you.
Seriously though, I have rarely found a book so patronizing and read with such out of touch privilege.

Good but left wanting more
This book was lovely however, I feel that it would have been better if it were a little more personal. It felt like she was guarding herself the whole book, only focusing on outer beauty (mostly) and even if she did talk about inner beauty she managed to circle back to talking about looks or clothes or beauty secrets. The title is unfitting to this book as it does not match the contents. I was expecting a look into her success and how she regards it but instead it was basically all about how to look your best once you have made it. I still enjoyed what I read but it was a little shallow in nature. I hope she writes a more personal one.

Only for real fans - not very inventive
Würden Sie gern ein anderes Hörbuch von Lea Michele und/oder Lea Michele ausprobieren?
Ich würde mir noch ein weiteres Hörbuch von ihr anhören, in der Hoffnung, dass Lea etwas Interessantes berichten wird als hier.
I would listen to another audio book from Lea, hoping to get something more interesting than this book.
Was hat Sie am meisten an Lea Micheles Geschichte enttäuscht?
Ihre Erlebnisse und Tipps waren nichts neues. Der Stil, alles in Listen aufzuzählen, ist für ein Hörbuch sehr ungeeignet.
Her experiences and tips were nothing new. The style of listing everything is not very suitable for an aufio book.
Hat Brunette Ambition Sie zu etwas Bestimmtem inspiriert?
Nein, not at all.
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Nur für echte Fans von Lea sicherlich nett, aber sonst eher langweilig und uninteressant. Zielgruppe: Jugendliche
