Zoe and her friends know every horror movie rule by heart. So when the enigmatic DJ Slade launches the "Break the Rules or Die Trying" contest, Zoe eagerly signs her and her twin sister, Aspen, up for the challenge.

The game starts at midnight. But what begins as a hunt for a cash prize quickly devolves into a nightmare. The contest app seems to be watching them, using their deepest secrets as weapons.
