When society has passed the tipping point, what do you do?
Society has collapsed. The lights are out, and they're not coming back on. Foods and tools that were once commonplace are now scarcities to be fought over. The population is rapidly dying from countless causes. Meg and the others are still alive, but just barely. It seems like every effort they make boomerangs back. There are enemies around every corner.
With limited options, Meg and the others allow two new members to join up with them. They're brothers, and they offer much needed help. An extra pair of hands is good for defense, and it seems that more dangerous stranglers are coming around. But the brothers themselves might offer more than just protection and labor.
