Description

One event, big enough to wreak havoc on America.

Three men.

Seventeen days.

One goal:

Survive long enough to reach their safe haven.

During the first 17 days of the collapse of America, three men travel through the mounting destruction, seeking asylum in the Rocky Mountains, but finding, instead, the nucleus of who they are as men.

A jaded special operations soldier, a self-doubting family man, and a once-pampered teenager make their way from three corners of the country toward a survival compound in the state of Utah, but they must first pass through a land of chaos and death, a land that will no longer allow them to hide behind post-modern artifice.

With society on the ropes and Mother Nature on the rise, these three men must either re-invent themselves in a condition of honesty and savagery, or perish with the rest of Western Civilization.

Black Autumn Travelers is a post-apocalyptic political thriller and a companion to Black Autumn, the novel, and The Last Air Force One, book one in the Black Autumn Companion Series. The series can be read in any order.

Thank you!

Kevin Pierce saves the day! Enjoyed the storyline on the first book but the narrator was gut wrenching. Kevin is awesome as alway!

Hard to stop listening.

Kevin Pierce is a true wizard of end timed classics. Hard to listen to anyone other than Kevin narrating our way thru any great story. Very good book.

Narrator is the best!

I've listened to Kevin Pierce read/perform many books now, and he's like a father telling a story. The story was good, and Mr. Pierce made it better.

Disappointing and unrealistic

Women dying so two of the heroes did not have to have any kind of meaningful relationship. To be a man means to take care of women, children, old folk, to work hard, make good choices, be loyal to his wife and children. Not much of that here. Mostly absurd, childish situations with men behaving badly. This book is like watching a man walk into a bar and brag I can whip any man in here, with various results. Who would want to associate with such a braggart? Ditto, the characters in the book, not ones I want to associate with further. I was so glad this was a series, but not I am definitely not getting the next in the sequence. This could have been done so well. Also stupid references to Mother Earth as in Mother Earth made me do it or it was Mother Earth's will. Stuff about the Mormon church. I am not Mormon, but I am not sure if the negative way they are portrayed is true. Doubt it.

One hero did rescue his wife and 2 sons, but he seemed an unpleasant person too that I could not admire.

Over 100 Books Purchased; This Is In The Top Three

Excellent book with sublime character development and story.

Two issues however:
1. Too short.
2. Pog rhymes with rogue, not hog.

Can we get a decent narrator with military experience?
