This is an audio guide to the Bhojpuri language for younger learners. Bhojpuri is a native language to both India and Nepal, as well as in Fiji and parts of the Caribbean. In India, it is primarily spoken in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The language is spoken by approximately 50 million people globally.
This course provides an introduction to the Bhojpuri languages suitable for beginner to intermediate level speakers. The focus is on verbal communication and comprehension. The course is split over 28 daily sessions with a focus on words and phrases that can be put to daily, practical use. Content is first introduced and then reviewed later in the course to improve comprehension. This is an ideal way for young learns to build their proficiency in the important Bhojpuri language, and adult listeners may learn something too!
