I looked in the plus catalog of audible and found this free book. Honestly because it was free I didn’t expect it to be great but I was still disappointed.
I felt like I was reading a Wattpad story.
We start the book by a detailed description of her fiancé having s*x with another woman. What happened to hello? How are you? No we just started right away with smut and not the kind you want it was a cheating scene! I don’t want to hear about the way he thr*st into her. I want to here about how you feel and what you do or even better not even have the cheating scene in the first place.
The pace was so rushed. Not even 5% in the book she’s already fallen for a new guy a stranger that is extremely pushy and for some reason keeps finding himself in the same place as her. A place like the train and mind you he owns two companies and does not need the train.
The main character is annoying and I had to change what she was saying in my head sometimes because of how bad it was.
The entire book was smut. No plot at all. And even though spice is great this was way too much. Every time they say each other that we’re at it again.
The end was terrible and left us on a big cliff hanger but I guess that was the only way the author was going to get the readers to read her next book.
The reason I gave it 2 stars is because if this was a Wattpad story and not a published book I would probably have been less harsh and liked it better. It’s okay if it was written by an 18 year old on Wattpad. Maybe if I had read this a few years ago I would have really liked it but now that I’ve read actually good books I can see way more mistakes and unenjoyable things about it.
This really isn’t personal with the author I don’t want to be rude but this was bad and I haven’t disliked a book in a while.
Great performances from the narrators though! I absolutely adored the woman’s voice.
