À propos de ce contenu audio
Kiki is moulded and shaped by her employers' demands and those of her clients until she is forced to change who she is.
At last, she gets her British passport and is able to initiate divorce proceedings. She enters survival mode, allowing herself to be receptive to new experiences and starting the healing process.
When Covid-19 creates chaos in the world, she is forced to isolate with her client for a period of twelve weeks. She must search far and wide for inspiration and meaning in life after realising that seeing her family in South Africa was all but impossible. Through her own doing her dream of living in Spain with Peter is shattered. She believes a good life eludes her despite the options the UK provides.
By the time she gets back home in South Africa, she has worked for an agency, provided private care, and provided domiciliary care, among other forms of care.
Her reliable traveling companion as she moves from assignment to assignment is Gwendolyn, her SATNAV.
In this tale, an elderly lady discovers who she is by helping those in need.
