While visiting a Florida resort on its opening weekend, Elsie and Zippy are supposed to be finding the skunk ape. Instead they find a dead body, a cast of B-List celebrity suspects and more motives than mosquitoes.

With the resort manager eager to sweep everything under the rug, they’ve got to figure out the murderer’s devious trick--and find the evidence to lock them up for good.

Meanwhile, back in Mount Hellforge, Lulubelle Pippinsworth (aka The Widow Simon) is holding down the fort at FLAME Farms. Moonbeam is having a dispute with the Faerie Condominium Home Owner’s Association, but it’s nothing she can’t handle.
