The arrangement was simple, with only two rules.
Rule number one: Don't fall in love.
Rule number two: Refer back to rule one when necessary.
I thought I could stick to the rules, but with a girl like Fallon, I should've known those rules were meant to be broken. We've been best friends since we were kids, and she's the only woman I'd ever even consider for more than a one-night stand.
