About 400 inmates escaped from Al-Jalabi Prison near El Daein, the capital of Sudan's East Darfur state, after drone strikes on Oct. 19. Officials in the state government, which is aligned with the Rapid Support Forces, blamed the Sudanese army. State health officials said 34 people were killed or injured in the attacks on El Daein that day.
