In 2022, in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden was home to an extraordinary event where, for 100 days, 1000 mature trees were taken for a walk around the city. 4000 volunteers made it all possible, and it was the brainchild of landscape artist Bruno Doedens. You will find a short video of it here. It's a beautiful example of what I call a 'pop up tomorrow', an artistic intervention where the future is drawn through into the present for people to see, touch, feel and smell. Bruno has done many different amazing projects which we discuss in our fascinating conversation. It will inspire you to take a forest for a walk, promise!
