Rusty the Emergency Management Cat is the audiobook version of the illustrated children's book describing a fictional cat who wants to become an Emergency Manager. Rusty enjoys his home and his life as an indoor cat. But when a severe storm forces his family to evacuate to a shelter, Rusty learns how to help keep his family safe. Basics of overall Emergency Management are introduced to kids and their parents. This book covers the 'before', 'during', and 'after' something bad happens, as compared to just the emergency response timeframe of 'during'. Also covered in the book are elements of belonging, kindness, and recognition of people with disabilities and access/functional needs. And at the end of the print and Kindle version of the book, there is information from the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on how to prepare your pets for disasters.©2024 Michael Prasad (P)2026 Michael Prasad Action et aventure Animaux Animaux et nature Fiction sur les animaux Roman et littérature
