🚨 THIS ONE IS A MUST-LISTEN! 🚨
This week, we're sitting down with Jen Jacob, co-founder of the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network (DSDN)!
If you aren't familiar with DSDN, it's an AMAZING organization dedicated to supporting families who have received a Down syndrome diagnosis.
What started as a small online group connecting moms has grown into one of the largest national support networks for new and expectant parents of children with Down syndrome!
💙 DSDN helps families connect with other parents who GET IT, provides trusted resources and education, offers support groups and mentorship, and works to make sure families receive accurate, supportive information when they get a diagnosis.
Their mission is simple but SO important: No family should have to navigate a Down syndrome diagnosis alone.
And that's exactly why we love conversations like this one!
If you're new here, Chromosomes & Chaos is a podcast about Down syndrome, REAL LIFE, parenting kids with disabilities, and ALL the chaos that comes with it! 😂
We're talking motherhood, relationships, family, fitness, IEPs, personal growth, and all the unexpected twists and turns life throws our way.
The messy stuff. The funny stuff. The hard stuff. And the things that don't always get talked about.
We don't have all the answers. We definitely don't have it all figured out. And that's kind of the point!
Some episodes will make you laugh, some will make you think, and others will remind you that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! ❤️
