Welcome to Cyrus Says!
On this episode of Cyrus Says, Sahil Khattar joins Cyrus Broacha for a chaotic conversation about football, hosting, films, relationships and everything in between.
Sahil talks about getting the chance to host FIFA World Cup coverage, how the entire broadcast was put together in just 10 days, and what it was like working alongside names like Sunil Chhetri, Bhaichung Bhutia, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Sandesh Jhingan. He also opens up about his sporting background in roller hockey, and how that helped shape the way he understands football.
The conversation also gets into the state of Indian football, why India still hasn’t qualified for the FIFA World Cup, Sahil’s love life, and why he now wants a more stable personal life so he can focus on work. Sahil also reveals that he is working on a major family comedy, which he has co-written and will star in as the lead, backed by a legacy studio and set to shoot in Chandigarh.
Watch the full episode for Sahil Khattar, FIFA World Cup, Indian football, Sunil Chhetri, Bhaichung Bhutia, his upcoming film and plenty of Cyrus Says madness.
