The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”—Exodus 33:14
Sovereign Lord, To know that You are with me fills me with the greatest happiness! The tribulations of this world distress me daily. But in my worst of times, I need only bring my mind back to Your promise that You are present at all times and I return to calm.
We are never alone. Jesus proclaimed that He will be with us always, until the end of time. But many of us don’t communicate with Jesus nearly as often as would please Him. This disappoints our Lord and diminishes the ways in which He can help us face life’s difficulties. However, every sunrise represents another magnificent opportunity to reconnect with the Lord in preparation for the day’s challenges. In an uplifting collection of one hundred devotions, gospel songwriter Michael Justin Lee helps believers strengthen their relationship with Jesus by offering prayers and passages that provide daily inspirational messages of peace. Included with each prayer is applicable scripture that helps provide hope, comfort, and love.
Seeking Sunrise is a one-hundred-day devotional that shares prayers and scripture that gently guide believers to reconnect with the Lord and bring peace back into their hearts.
