Rosie is an altruistic fitness influencer, who raises money by ‘running for those who can’t, despite scepticism from internet trolls.
Luke is fresh out of a break-up and born cynical, so when Rosie appears like a burst of sunshine to save his grandmother's struggling animal sanctuary, he doesn’t trust her motives. If anyone should be helping the woman who raised him – it should be Luke, not some stranger.
He decides to run the Edinburgh marathon to raise funds himself, aiming to beat Rosie’s time after she doubts his abilities. Their competition goes viral, forcing them to collaborate. As they push each other to the limit, long hours training together reveal hidden depths and an unexpected connection.
Uncertain if it’s more than mutual ire making their hearts race, one thing is for certain, when they reach the finish line, there will be fireworks.
