In Episode 7 of From Brokenness to Freedom, we’re stepping into our second pillar: Inner Healing. And we’re having this conversation from two different perspectives—one of us deeply passionate about inner healing, and one of us coming in with questions and even some skepticism.

Because we don’t want healing that makes us more focused on ourselves.

We want healing that brings us closer to Jesus.

In this episode, we talk about how wounds can shape what we believe, how those beliefs can create patterns in our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and even physical responses—and what it can look like to invite the Holy Spirit into those places.

We walk through the connection between the body, soul, and spirit; anxiety and thought patterns; forgiveness and repentance; renewing the mind; replacing lies with biblical truth; and practical steps for bringing wounded places before God.

But ultimately, inner healing isn’t about digging through your past just to understand yourself better.

It’s about surrender.

It’s about allowing Jesus into the places we’ve tried to protect, hide, suppress, or carry ourselves—and letting His truth transform what we believe and how we live.

Because the goal isn’t simply, “Jesus, make me feel better.”

The goal is: “Jesus, heal what needs healing so I can know You more, become more like You, and live fully surrendered to You.”
