Preserving the future is not the same as causing it.
The Jakarien race was doomed to extension. Without the Imperium, the galaxy would devolve into lawless chaos. Billions would die. Roat had seen it as clearly as if he were remembering it. Finding Bausume, as he knew he must, was preordained. As was Sam’s carefully orchestrated destiny.
So, what happened?
Picking up where 'Daggered Wings' leaves off, Sam, Bo, and AJ, designated imperial Hunters, report to their first Star Corps squadron. Tackling their glorious new life with the enthusiasm of youthful innocence, they soon discover war-combat in the stars, is not what they envisioned. And what of the mighty Jakarien Empire? Galactic peace and prosperity, but at what cost? Book two in the Metatalta series is a nonstop thrill ride-pick up a copy today.
