The book delivers an addictive story, built on a mix of attention-grabbing techniques, such as nostalgic pop-culture, quick moral duels and bursts of righteous outrage, fleeting emotional memories, timely humor, moments of shock, breadcrumb mysteries, meta-commentary, and the warmth of Carl and Donut’s bond. Each element hits a different emotion: curiosity, empathy, indignation and laughter, creating a recurring rhythm of tension and release.

The story pulls you in and doesn't let go! So much fun to listen to and you get so attached to the characters

Such an exciting and well narrated book

I wish there was more than one floor per book, like the two floors of the first books, otherwise that makes the story a bit too slow-paced (will there be 17 books ?).
I'm also more interested by the interactions between the real characters than with their interactions with the NPCs, which seem a little artificial at times, especially during quests.
But overall, a good book and a good ending which really made me want to listen to the next one.
